Cute Cute Cute Idea

As I was browsing Martha Stewart Weddings online today I found this really cute idea to personalize the gifts that you give your bridal party.

Customized Labels
To turn wedding-day accessories into lovely keepsakes for your bridal party, why not add customized labels bearing your wedding date, monogram, or some other personal note?

Oh Martha.....

A Thanksgiving Wedding

With today being the day before Thanksgiving things around the store have been pretty quiet so I thought I would put up some ideas for a Thanksgiving Themed wedding. The possibilities are really endless but the fall really does lend itself to deep rich colors and an over all feeling of warmth. So Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I hope you enjoy all the yummy things tomorrow brings!

This is a ring bearer pillow and some boutonniere's for the guys

These place cards are made out of wood! Leave it to Martha Stewart to think up that one. And I love the ideas of using fresh fruit in decor.

I think the wheat is amazing. I am going to do this someday when I host Thanksgiving dinner.

These are some favors that I thought were cute. The first is just a mason jar filled with something. The second is little sacks of trail mix.

Caramel Apples and this is a sack of apples with a recipe for an apple pie. Isn't that cute?!

This Dress is by Casablanca style 1881. I just love the Champagne on this dress. And the Bridesmaids dress is by Dessy Style 2745 in Antique Gold.

I thought this was amazing for an over all look. You all know how I love lighting!

One Busy Week!

Hello Ladies, This week is going to be somewhat chaotic but should be a lot of fun. On Thursday November 20th we will be at the LaFontaine Dealership for a Ladie's Night Out which is a charity event that benefits the Community Sharing Organization. We will be doing a bridal fashion show (with many of our very own brides as the models) and if you can make it we would love to see you there.

And then starting Friday the 21st we are having an Alfred Sung Bridals Trunk show. Featuring the latest 2009 gowns. If you haven't chosen a dress yet you are not going to want to miss this show. These bridal gowns are not even in the stores yet, so you will be the first in Michigan to see them. Call 248-684-4462 to make an appointment.
Stella will be here waiting for you! :-)

Kellie: What was your favorite part of your wedding?

I have thought about this question for a while now and it is a tough one to answer. I loved every minute of my wedding from start to finish it was everything I wanted. However, I guess if I had to narrow my selection down to one thing from that day it would have to be finally being Mr & Mrs Harrell. Who would have ever thought that when Nick and I met in high school that 5 years later we would still be together and getting married. Our wedding day was amazing and we are still loving every minute of married life!

Happy Anniversary!

3 years ago we opened our doors for business. It is truly amazing how quickly 3 years has gone by. I look back now and think of all the things I have learned, all the amazing people I have met, all the funny stories I have and how much my life has changed in just 3 years. I am really looking forward to where life will take us in the next 3 years. Thank you all for your continued support that you have given our store, even after you have gotten married. You are the reason we are a success and that we love doing our jobs everyday.

Gina

This is Shannon and Joe. Shannon was our very first bride to buy a gown from our store.

New Hair

After a good 2 years I decided it was time to cut my hair. My goal in keeping it long was to donate it and on Monday I decided I was ready. So I went into Visions in Novi and had it cut off. I am donating my ponytail to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths campaign which provides real hair wigs to women with Cancer. I know many of you, like me, grew your hair out for your wedding and wouldn't it be great if we all could help another woman during a really tragic time in their lives? I feel like a new person and would encourage all of you to help out!
My ponytail is 10 1/2 inches long!

So what do you think??
