Ring Bearer Pillow Alternatives

Yesterday one of my brides, Tracy, emailed me asking if I had any ideas for Ring Bearer Pillow alternatives. So I thought I would share with everyone some different and really cute ideas for your ring bearer.

I love the idea of 2 children, could be two boys, two girls or a boy and a girl carrying a sign like this that says "Here comes the bride" and then I thought it would be super cute to have the other side say "Just Married" and let them walk ahead of you as you walk back down the aisle after the ceremony.
You could do it Banner Style like this one or a wooden sign.
You can have signs custom made on Etsy.com

These are called Ring Orbs. They look like a little ball and they come in many colors with your choice of many different sayings inside. This is a great idea because you can use it to hold your rings at home when you are not wearing them. These can be found at Everyday Artifact
This isn't the most original idea but a Treasure chest ring box is cute and will ensure that your rings stay in place

I like this one for the "Lucky in Love" couple. It's something easy for little hands to hold and not breakable!
We had one of our brides get one of these Pewter rings and she changed the ribbon to her wedding colors. I thought this was beautiful and would be really pretty hung on a wall afterwards. The ring says "An unbroken & neverending circle symbolizes a commitment of love that is never ending"
This cute Ring Bowl can be made in a variety of colors with different sayings on the inside. This one would make a great ornament afterwards or just a nice piece to keep your rings on.

I hope this helps Tracy! Thanks for the email and just a reminder to any brides out there if you have a question or need some ideas please feel free to email me I would be be more than happy to try and help you out!

Cool Bridesmaids Gifts

I came across this website Dogeared one day when I was doing some online shopping. They have really neat jewelry that would be a great gift for your bridemaids. Most of their pieces have special meanings which I love! Some of their most popular pieces are the Pearls of Love, Make a Wish Necklaces, and my personal favorite the Karma Necklace.

Instead of getting your Bridesmaids a piece of jewelry they may not wear again why not find them something reflects their personality and personal style

First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage, Then Comes the Baby Shower!

After my wedding was over I was just dying to plan another event. So pretty much as soon as I found out that my sister Andrea was pregnant, we began planning her baby shower and I wanted to share some of the photos with you all. Our theme was "Mommy's Nesting" but if you wanted to do something with a nest theme for a wedding shower you could do a "Love Birds" theme.
______________________________________________________________________________________
Andrea and Kevin did not tell anyone what the sex of the baby was until the day of the baby shower. So here they are coming in to their shower to announce it is a boy!
We had these little nests on everyones place setting. I got the nests and the ribbon at WeddingThings.com
The Eggs inside are just peanut M&M's that I special ordered from M&M.com

My sister Carla found the little charm that we tied to the nest on Ebay!

All the centerpieces were done by my mom and had different themes. The contents of this basket were all spa products. The actual Nest looking baskets we found at The Flower Factory.

Carla and I purchased this necklace for Andrea from Etsy.com to remember her shower by.

This is a quilt that I made for the new baby

Bring on the Cookies!

So my last post about the save the date cookies got me looking at other cookie options. And I found some really cute ones. Weddingish.com has cookies for just about every occasion. Here are a few of my favorites.

Cute Save The Date

I found this Save the Date cookie today on WeddingMarket.com. And I just had to share them. I think that this is such a cute and unique idea. Although if I was sending these out I would definitely include a sticker to go on the recipients calendar. After all once they eat the cookie how will they remember?!

Sorry I've been MIA

Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted lately. I was out of town for the week visiting my sister and nephew in New York (a last trip before bridal season begins). But I came back to this lovely honor. So thank you to all of our brides who gave us such high marks!

WeddingWire, the nation’s leading wedding technology company, just announced that Gina's Bridal Boutique has won the 2009 Bride’s Choice Awards™! In its inaugural year, the Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes and honors vendors from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. This year’s recipients represent the top three percent of WeddingWire’s vendor community, which includes over 100,000 wedding vendors from across the US. That means Gina's Bridal Boutique is one of the very best in Wedding Dresses and Attire. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews. “We are excited to launch this annual award program to honor high-performing vendors based solely on the experiences of our WeddingWire community,” according to Timothy Chi, WeddingWire’s Chief Executive Officer. “This year’s recipients have set the bar high, exhibiting excellent service and expertise in the wedding industry.”

Thank you to all of our past clients for speaking on our behalf and helping us win the 2009 Bride's Choice Award! We truly feel honored to have met all of you and to have been a part of such a special time in your lives!

Much Love,

Gina
