I have been MIA!

But I am back now...It really has been a crazy month! First of all the Bridal Show was a huge success. You can see some of the photos from the day on our Facebook page. I am looking forward to a bigger and even better show next year! Then I got to spend last weekend in the Windy City for Bridal Market! It was, as always, so fun to see all of the latest and greatest in Bridal Fashions. As I expected we saw lots of one shoulder gowns, flower accents and lots of color. And when I talk about color I am not talking about bridesmaids dresses I am talking about bridal gowns. Pink is the new white! We saw lots of wedding gowns in various shades of pink and champagnes. I am excited for the new pieces to hit the store (which will be around the end of summer) so all you 2011 brides, hold on to your veils because the new dresses are GORGEOUS!

So I promise I will post some more, I have some new brides photos to share so stay tuned! ;-)

New Hours

Starting July 1st we are going to be open

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

We will have our normal business hours on Thursday 11 - 8 Friday 11 -5 and Saturday 11 - 5. So make sure you call ahead or email me to make an appointment if you want to come in on a Monday, Tuesday or a Wednesday.

This is a trial thing that we are doing and if it works out well we may continue to do it.

I am always interested to hear what you think so please feel free to let me know.

Sorry I've been MIA

Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted lately. I was out of town for the week visiting my sister and nephew in New York (a last trip before bridal season begins). But I came back to this lovely honor. So thank you to all of our brides who gave us such high marks!

Our Movie Debut

As Many of you know our store was the chosen store to film in for a scene from the movie "Demoted". So the cast and crew came into our store on Wednesday October 8th for a fun filled day of filming! There were tons of people in here, not to mention more men than this store has ever seen! The film is supposed to be out next summer so go and see it and look for yours truly in the background of a couple of the scenes!
